Our Vinyl Background Black is 2.72 meters wide and 6 meters long. It is a durable, wrinkle-resistant background with a 510 gsm thickness.
Vinyl is very easy to keep clean and is UV light resistant. The matte finish gives you a non-reflective background . This makes this background suitable for product photography and portraiture. The Vinyl background comes on a firm core, so when hanging it remains straight and can hence be used on all types of background systems. Furthermore, this background is very easy to clean. The thickness of the vinyl is about 0.59 mm.
★Mounting
Please Note Vinyl is heavy and hence we recommend you use an wall mount support system. An wall mount support system will control the unrolling of the vinyl, which is safer and will reduce the likelihood of the material coming away from the core when fully extended. A Background stand system can be used but you will have no control of the speed of the unrolling so it is not our recommendation.

★Learning About Vinyl Backdrops
Because of their durability and variety, Vinyl backdrops are a cost-effective option for photography studio backdrops. Available in multiple colors, patterns, and as chroma key backgrounds, they last for years, and work for most types of photo sessions. Consider vinyl when you want a reusable, easy-to-clean backdrop.
★Why Choose Vinyl Backgrounds?
While seamless background paper has been the traditional preferred background, vinyl has advantages that save time and money.
1. Wrinkle Resistant
Removing a wrinkle in a background increases your post-production time. Vinyl backdrops rarely wrinkle, but in the rare case they do, it's easy to remove before a shoot with careful application of heat.
2. Tear Resistant
Unlike paper, vinyl don't tear easily. A misstep or a sharp edge won't cause replacement of an entire backdrop.
3. Sanitary
Accidental soiling can occur, especially if your work includes pets. You can easily disinfect vinyl
4. Finish
Although you can get the standard shiny finish, vinyl photo backdrops come with matte finishes that resist reflective glare. You can also get finishes that resemble wood or other flooring. Place these over your carpet or studio floor to change the look of your scene.
5. Easy Storage Options
You can store vinyl photography studio backdrops upright in rolls or vertically on racks.
★When to Use Vinyl Backdrops
The strength and weight of vinyl backdrops make them best suited for studio work. They're heavier than other materials or collapsible backgrounds, but once set up, they can remain in place for continuous use. Use this material rather than muslin and fabric backgrounds if your shoot involves liquids or smears on the backdrop. Shoot, wipe with soap and water, and you're ready for your next shot. Use only mild soap, not petroleum products, since these dry out vinyl and make it crack.
